The HTC One is a beautiful device, it actually got people talking about HTC again after so long creating devices that were deemed nothing special so it was only right for HTC to also manufature accessories that fully complements the design and feel of the HTC One.  HTC One Double Dip Hard Shell Case is perfect example of a great accessory.  Not many HTC One hard cases can be seen as stylish, they usually mean extra added bulk and hard plastic mixed with rubber.

The last time I saw a nice accessory for my device was from TwelveSouth, Samsung’s SView cover and maybe some iPad accessories from Apple.  What sets them apart however is price; whilst everyone else is setting their prices out of reach after spending hundreds on their device, HTC decides to make sure the price is right and they are not hard cases.

The video above gives an accurate representation of what it looks like; neatly packaged there isn’t much to it and it doesn’t take a college degree to get it on your HTC One.  It comes in three parts, namely the back/middle area, the top and bottom and the colours makes it look like it was slightly dipped in paint.  To get it on your HTC One, you simply slide your smartphone in the middle section and clip on the top and bottom of the case.

The case does not impinge the sound quality from the HTC’s BoomSound, the top and bottom clips does feel lose, they hold sturdy.  The soft material used doesn’t scratch your HTC One when inserting it and it feels soft in hand.  The stylish look just adds cherry on top and in fact we have nothing negative to say about this case, if been picky, HTC should have included a screen protector in the pack but that is just been picky. The price is also right, not expensive at all for a case that looks great and premium.
