The market is saturated with so many cases for the iPad and one of the most difficult thing after purchasing your iPad is finding which case is suitable for your needs. On the other hand, you could find one but you then need to see if it does everything you need it to do; a lot of cases can now go beyond just serving as a protection or stylish entity for your iPad.

In the box
When you open up the box, you get a stylus, a usb cable for charging and your iPad 2 or the new iPad folio style case with the bluetooth keyboard enclosed. Watch the unboxing video below so you can see the contents.
Design, installation and usability
The case is made from a synthentic leather which keeps your iPad safe and cushioned when in use; it also keps the bluetooth keyboard safe. Around the case you get your camera openings for both the back and the front with the cut out for the charger port and the home button. The iPad holder can be detached completely from the casing held by a velcro attachment. You can ofcourse leave it attached and fold it to use with the keyboard in a nice comfortable sitting position.
Pairing and connecting it to your iPad via bluetooth is very straight forward, all you need to do press the pairing button next to the status indicator light and select the device from your bluetooth device list on the iPad, enter the code given and you are ready to be productive. Te keyboard is very straight forward to use with the keys placed where average users will easily find them for touch typing. The keys are soft and well spaced with adequate sizes that even someone with fat fingers will be able to use it conveniently.
Surprisingly you can do mostly everything via the keyboard like search, go to home, double tap to multitask or see running apps, lock the screen, unlock the iPad and when typing you can do things like enable caps lock, highlight your text and it was just a joy to type on.
Overall
Yes it adds extra bulk to your slim profile iPad 2 and the new iPad but it does the job and would be perfect for anyone who loves writing on the move. The detachable keyboard and iPad compartment is a bonus meaning you don’t have it to use it with the keyboard in place all the time.
