Opena was such a great idea before it even hit the stores that it got funded on Kickstart projects. The market is saturated with so many iPhone cases that can do more than just protecing your iPhone but not all of them have been able to pull it off very well, some add extra bulk or maybe the feature added are not that needed or in high damand.

The case has all the necessary cut out for your 30pin dock port, your volume rocker and the headphone area at the top; inserting my iPhone 4 was very straight forward and easy but getting it out is somewhat difficult and although it only makes me think of how secure it is, it also made me worry about taking it off without damaging the case or my iPhone, thankfully visiting Opena’s support page gives you the intructions needed to remove case from iPhone 4 or 4s
One thing I really liked about the Opena is how solid it felt whilst keeping a slim profile because one of the reasons I got the iPhone 4 is the slim profile and getting a case also means that I need to have one that keeps the slim profile intact. The camera opening also doesn’t affect the camera quality when taking photos with flash on which is perfect. One big concern was that the 30pin dock area might get liquid damage but after regular use that was not a problem at all; the opena itself is metallic and does not gather too much dust over time or corrode from opening bottles and spilling my drinks on it.
Overall the Opena is an awesome case and serves it’s purpose. It definitely opens bottles with no issues, protects the iPhone with no concerns and lasts long with a slim profile also.
