Any iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s user will complain about the battery life of their smart phone at some point in their iPhone journey, but they don’t have to any more because there are so many products on the market that will solve the issue.  Mostly backup battery packs that kills two birds with one stone by protecting your iPhone 4 as well as provide longer battery life.

The iPhone 4 4S offGRID Backup Battery Case is one of the few backup battery cases out there that takes the slim profile of the iPhone into consideration when it was designed; the biggest selling point for me is how slim it was and the curved back makes it feel ever so nice to hold as well as the matte black finishing.

The iPhone 4 or the 4s slides in tightly indicating how secure your smart phone would be whilst it’s inside; it has ports for all the functionality of the iPhone but only problem is the size of the headphone port cut out which might create a problem for some third party headphone jacks. The image on incipio’s website also made believe that the top are would clip in nicely with no gaps but whilst in use, we noticed little gap between the top cap and the lower body of the case. The USB to Micro USB cable provided also seem a little short for use whilst charging.

The case allows you to charge the iPhone and sync without the need for Apple’s USB cable, which means you do not have to keep removing your iPhone when you need to sync or for other reasons. Pressing and holding the power button turns the backup battery on and repeating the step switches it back off; pressing once briefly will indicate how much battery life you have left.
