Design and Functionality
Made of a high quality black leather, the back binding gives it a look that resembles that of a pocket bible of some sort and been leather it will break in and scratch over time which gives it that vintage leather character. Opening the BookBook you have three slots for credit cards, one of them been an ID holder, you can insert your drivers licence in there and with the round cut out it makes it very east to slide out should you need to product or show your ID. Under the card slot you also have a space to hold your folded note, you might get away with fitting couple of £20 notes in.
On the other side is an insert for the iPhone 4 with A red fabric tab that is used to securely hold your iPhone in place to prevent it from sliding out, it also makes it easy to allow you to slide your iPhone out should you need to take pictures. One thing I also noticed once it is closed is how the red tab looks like a bookmark resembling a real book. the leather fully wraps your iPhone in place offering full protection for your iPhone. It also offers edge to edge style placement so that you can fully utilize your iPhone whilst it is in the BookBook.
It has all the essential cutouts like your headphone port, charging port, silent switch and a slight raised area for the volume rockers. The only cut out not present is that of the camera, which can be a pain to have to keep sliding your phone in and out in order to take pictures but the reason for that might be that it compromises the book resemblance if they were to punch a hole in there for the camera.
