Got a new office desk at home or your new job, chances are you will be looking for some cool stuff to make your desk look good; if you have an iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S, you could either let your phone stay freely on the desk or you can purchase an iphone dock that will charge your phone, allow bluetooth connection so that you can still make phone calls or better yet, play music if you are the boss.

Design
The device has a luxurious look to it, the finishing of the materials used, the way the dock slides out and when you pick up the handset it has the perfect weigh to it so you can stay on the phone for long conversations and not feel like you have weight in your hands. The glowing buttons, the sound it makes for alerts also very well designed to give it a modern look so that it when it is sitting on your office desk, it will look the part.
The base unit is covered in a matte black finish which picked up a lot of finger print but with a clean fiber cloth you can easily give it a clean and it is back to its nice looks. On top of it, you get two silver pins where the headset rests upon for ending and accepting calls just like your regular house phone. On the back is your micro USB port for charging your iPhone when docked and the device itself. In front of the unit, you also have the slide out docking tray, the only issue we had with this is how it does not lock into place once it is out.
The handset itself is also finished with a matte black finishing and with regular phone calls ti would get covered in finger prints, so God help you if you have OCD for wiping off finger prints; turning it to the side you get your volume rocker buttons discretely placed and responsive when pressed.
The speaker and Microphone grills are very prominent with no sign for what side is what but if you follow the direction of the “swissvoice” writing, it is easy to get used to what side is your earpiece and which one is your microphone. You also have your track skipping buttons which should have been placed the opposite way as you can easily get it confused; you also get the end call/power button with play/sound button too on the cross shape multifunctional button.
Functionality and performance
When it came to the device been fit for purpose, it does exactly what it says on the tin with good sound quality and no loss of sound quality when connected or used over its maximum connection length. When using it as a music station it is also surprisingly amazing with base kicking with no crackling and treble blaring through at the correct frequencies although we would not use it as the main sound system at home.
The portability also means you can easily pick it up when the conversation is getting interesting and take it along with you around your home or office. The battery life is somewhat decent with it lasting all day with heavy usage calls and music playback, however that is not an issue as you can leave it charging all the time whilst in use.
Conclusion
It serves its purpose and will look the part whether you have it placed on your office or home office desk; the sound quality is perfect and not only does it charge your iPhone, it also means you can have your phone docked while you make calls meaning you have less exposure to radiation given off by your handset; and with your head not absorbing radiation, your call qualities are even better with better signal.
