What's This?

Have you ever found yourself in a really nice location with a beautiful view or maybe you are with loved ones and wanted to capture everything around you, 360 degrees in one go; yes we know about apps that exist and attempt to do the same job, but they never capture or record videos all at once, and that is where Bubblescope comes in.

The BubbleScope is a lens attachment which works with the camera in your Smartphone, coupled with a free BubblePix App, you can  instantly capture the world around you in a single 360º image or video. The BubbleScope is a world first and the only way to capture both single-shot 360º stills and video with your phone.

The BubbleScope uses a precision engineered hemi-spherical glass mirror to capture the 360° environment around the device, all you have to do is attach it with the case to your smartphone and click the top area to allow the lens to pop up, when you pop it up, it might make you look like you are on the set of the next Men In Black.

To get the image to be produced in panoramic format, an arrangement of corrective optics and an angled mirror  re-directs the light into the camera’s standard lens and produces a  360° image.  The Bubblescope will not create any bubble just by using your own default camera app, you need to download an App in order to make it useful; you can view in real time and when you take your photos, you can instantly view it with no extra processing to take place.

The BubblePix App used to take the photos or videos also allows you to share images via Twitter, Facebook and other major social media platforms and you can also share them with other Bubblescope users via Bubblepix.com; it also allows you to view other users’ images ad videos.

The only downside to Bubblescope is that the image quality/end result is not the best when viewed in full size but when looking at the image strip it looks completely fine, so that would be something we hoe to see in the next generation of the Bubblescope.
