Data storage and back up solutions have been around for a while and as of late it is now becoming more popular than ever. There are so many services available all offering different things and with more data been stored thanks to the power of faster Internet speeds and mobile data consumption, it is only right we have somewhere for us to back up those data should anything happen to the primary space.
Firedrive was a popular online storage provider who rebranded and reformed from Putlocker to become a better place for everyone to have their files stored. Unlike many other services out there who either offers low storage space, paid storage space, or even getting their users to do things like like them on Facebook or use referral codes to gain more space, Firedrive offers you 50GB of storage space out of the box.
Firedrive offers an option to either store your files privately or publicly for sharing with clients for example or maybe you are a lecturer and would like to make your lecture files available, you can do that also; that is combined with the option to be able to access your files from any where and any device. You can convert any folder into a file-drop, this allows website owners to receive files from their users without them having to register and they just appear in that folder.
If you offer a file that you don’t want to share with the masses, you can setup one time downloads which ensures files can only be downloaded only once.
For mass file uploads or repository type of use for your files you can securely upload files using any FTP client of your choice like Filezilla or if you prefer a used friendly interface, you can simply drag and drop files and folders to copy or move them.
Using the quick view menu, you can quickly view files in your control panel and once you have your public profiles setup, you are able to push files and folders to your profile. Files can also be available to view from the interface rather than having to download them to your computer first which movie files or audio files can be streamed directly from your account without the need to download them.
Privacy is key and whether you are handling documents, pictures, videos, songs, you have the power to share it with who you want to share it with, you can share it privately, publicly or using Firedrive’s Group facility, you can chose to share it with just a group of people. It makes Firedrive perfect for individuals, freelances, businesses and professionals to securely back up data or share data with others.
Firedrive takes away the ugly element of data storage and sharing by combining a very user friendly User Interface with security and also adding social elements to their system in that you can easily send links to your files, embed them if needed and creating a profile also means people can easily send you files, their Group facility allows you to add as many people as you want with restrictions you have set.
