What's This?

Samsung has started to become a lot better at keeping their new products from leaking out, making sure no-one outside the design team gets their hands on an actual product and keeping their latest skin update till the last few days.

Oddly it looks like the leak has come from Samsung’s own PR in South Korea, where a few journalists apparently got a sneak peak at the new 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro before its big release at CES 2014.

The Galaxy Note Pro was cased in glass, as the image shows, with nobody able to touch the tablet. From the angle of the photo, we would say photography may have not been allowed either, but someone violated that rule and leaked the photo out.

Apart from the awkward rear facing photo, the leakers also managed to grab a specifications list, although this may or may not be true. It is similar to previous statements we have heard on the Galaxy Note Pro, it will come with a 2560 x 1600 display, 2.4GHz processor, 3GB of RAM and enormous 9500mAh battery.

On the software side the Galaxy Note Pro will reportedly be running Android KitKat 4.4 at launch, with Samsung’s custom TouchWiz skin alongside. The design of the Galaxy Note Pro will be similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1 we imagine, with the soft touch faux leather and faux metal accents.

The last bite of news is the Galaxy Note Pro release date, said to be coming to CES 2014 to be officially unveiled. The news is rampant on the Galaxy Note Pro and this will be the first major 12.2-inch Android tablet available, mimicking news about Apple moving into the 12.2-inch market with the iPad.

  1. PuRu I would assume that the Octa would be certain part of the world and quad places like the UK just like the previous octa vs quad editions.
