What's This?

It looks like its the HTC M8’s turn to be photoed daily and leaked time and time again, as more people get their hands on the new device in the wild. The previous leak showed the back of the HTC M8, revealing a possible dual-camera or rounded fingerprint sensor on the device.

This time, we get our first look at the front of the HTC M8. Not much has been changed, but when the device got praised as the most well-designed Android smartphone on the market for most of 2013, there isn’t much that needs improving. However, the bezels have been thinned to an almost edge-to-edge display, something we are seeing on more devices lately.

The size of the device is not stated in the leaks, but we believe the display will be around 4.7 to 5.2-inches and may have a 2560 x 1440 resolution, similar to the reported Galaxy S5. Previous rumors stated there would not be any custom buttons on the HTC M8, but this image clearly shows capacitive keys are still the range.

It looks like HTC has decided not to comply with Android, it might be time for Google to give them a nudge in the right direction. We wonder if HTC will tone back on the custom design in Sense 6, Google has made a patent deal with Samsung and sold Motorola, which has eased the tension for one of the big Android developers, although this may have put HTC more on edge.

The HTC M8 has the same front facing speakers we seen on the HTC One. We like the front facing audio better than speakers on the bottom of the device, like on the iPhone. HTC is bound to make a leap forward in specs, we expect the Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and some new motion and fitness tracking control embedded, considering the company is thinking about releasing a wearable.
