What's This?

Christmas period is a busy time of the year and whilst we enjoy the company of our loved ones celebrating the festive period and enjoying the Christmas TV shows and some cooking, preparing Christmas dinner, we will be using some extra energy to keep things fired up and Christmas tree light up too; on the other hand to we might find that our attention is away from the safety or our home, be it safety from burglary or even leaving an electric appliance on by mistake.

Thanks to British Gas Safe and Secure system, you can monitor just how much energy you are using or wasting to help you better manage your resources and save money over the festive season.  With the plugs provided with the Safe and Secure system, you are able to control it remotely should in case you leave any appliances on.  For those who spends time away during Christmas with extended family or parents who lives on the other side of the country, you can activate the Safe and Secure system so that it alerts you if any one was to enter your property or should in case you left your TV on.

Most of us have smart phones and with the myHome App, you can remotely monitor energy consumption  remotely turn off your alarm and also switch on/off electrical appliances.  If you do not have a smart phone, you can still do most of the functions  via Text message, for example you will still receive all your alerts and if you have access to email, you can have them sent to a designated email address or telephone number.

Christmas is a great time to share some love with our loved ones, stay safe and enjoy it.  Merry Christmas form GadgetsBoy and British Gas.
