What's This?

A newer version of Android 4.3 has been leaked for the Galaxy S4 Google Edition, this is the second ROM leak and we got to have a really good look at some of the changes coming to the next version of Android.

The most notable change is battery life and NFC support, Google has worked on Android to not be as power demanding and reportedly one of  the main features of Key Lime Pie is small power outage and compression techniques to work on even the most basic Android devices.

Wireless charging has been worked on the Galaxy S4, now the user can charge the phone while it is switched off. Early tests and stats seem to show battery charging is more efficient than it was previously, with faster full charge times.

Google Wallet has been worked on some more and is now able to work with third party applications like IMDB and DashClock, we believe even though the Wallet project has not been fruitful, Google will continue to work in the digital payments space.

Even though this sounds great, the ROM package does have some problems and bugs, including SIM unlocking and just basic app malfunctions. With Google’s event on Wednesday likely to reveal the Nexus 7 and Android 4.3, we believe it won’t be long before we get the formal version of Android 4.3.
