What's This?

The Oppo N1 is set to be the next flagship from the latest Chinese manufacturer to break out to the Western world. With ZTE, Huawei and Xiaomi all coming from China, we are seeing more Chinese manufacturers push products to Europe and the US.

Keeping relatively hidden, the Oppo N1 has been a little bit of a mystery, with the only solid information surrounding the camera. Oppo will try to make sure the camera can go up against some rivals, including the Galaxy S4, Xperia Z1 and HTC One.

Two new leaks show a device that looks similar to the Xperia Z, with small rounded corners. The size of the phone remains a mystery, although looking at the leaks we could see it being around 5/5.5-inches.

Oppo already has a reputation for incredibly well built smartphones, with the Find 5 being the pinnacle of their design success, seeding into Europe and even the US markets. We believe the Oppo N1 will follow, with a 1080p IPS screen, 13MP rear camera, MediaTek chipset, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

It is rumoured for a Chinese release on September 23 and Oppo has been teasing back buttons. We hope they fix some of the problems with the UI, the clunky speeds and childish design did not resinate well with some users.
