What's This?

PokerStars has gone all out to provide poker fans with a wide array of free poker apps to support their playing needs. Whether you want to play poker on the go, at home with friends, or simply keep up to date with all of the latest poker news, the site has it covered.

The poker site’s main free poker app is available on both iOS and Android devices, which means that you can play on almost any smartphone or tablet device. The app itself has a very smooth and polished design which makes it very easy to navigate through all of the available games. When you first download the free app all you have to do is log-in or sign up to a PokerStars account and you are ready to go.

They provide many of the games available with full online service, such as Tournaments, Sit & Go’s and Zoom Poker, which is perfectly suited for players on the move. The Zoom Poker format allows players who fold to instantly be moved to a new table and into a new hand. This means that on your short commute to work you are able to pack more fun and more hands into your journey. To make things even easier there is even a Play Now button which lets users join their favorite game instantly.

The tablet version is perfect for lounging on the couch or playing a late night Sit & Go before you go to bed. The larger screen and longer battery life is much more suited for those longer tournaments or ring games. If, however, you decide that you would like to just take it easy and take in some poker news from some of the major poker tours, the EPT Guide and PokerStars TV apps are perfect.

Pick up the EPT Guide and you will have all the information about the event schedules, structures and will know about all the biggest hands and stories as they happen, with frequent updates and tweets from some of the biggest names poker. The PokerStars TV app goes one step further by giving you behind-the scenes-interviews and reports from the biggest tournaments, as well as the latest poker tutorials and updates from the pros. You can even share your favorite videos with friends on Facebook.

The mobile apps are totally free and all you need is a wireless or 3g connection to go with your smartphone or tablet.
