The Proporta USB TurboCharger 5000 can charge your Nokia, HTC, MP3, iDevices on the move with its 5000mAh of charge; It’s not heavy and feels solidly built.

There are three USB ports: a Mini USB is used to charge the device itself, two USB ports: one for light charge like mobile phones or MP3 players, and one high-power port for larger devices such as iPads.

What’s in the box?

There’s one retractable USB cable in the box, with various adaptors for popular products and you can get more on Proporta’s website. A soft suede pouch for carrying it and keeping the adaptors safe while on the move, the manual and of-course the TurboCharger itself.

Tell me more…
As the name suggests, it’s a USB product and its a TurboCharger not your main charger to rely on even though you can easily rely on it as a charging source. What’s good about this amazing product is that it charges my iPhone when im out of juice and that comes very handy when you need to make important calls. I charged my iPhone and Blackberry at the same time which let’s face it that’s a great result.

It doesn’t need you to acquire a degree in gadgets use to get it working, straight out of the box it charged my iPhone twice to full battery level from 10%ish. I’ve never been so keen on battery boosters but when I tried it this one, I changed my mind. It is a much have if you go camping, holiday or festivals, all you need to do is give it a full charge and it’s loaded with 5000mAh; this device is a beast. If you have iOS5 and you jailbreak it, you know that it’s tethered which means if the battery runs out you need your laptop to fire it up again, but listen this will save you all the trouble. It can charge your iPad , iPod, iPhone, Blackberry, Nokia, HTC and more.

Any downside?
Brace yourself, you will find it online from about £40, yes it’s quite expensive but it’s a great product for the price.

Anything else?
To complete the package, I recommend buying the Proporta dual USB incar charger socket and also the Travel USB charger pack
