What's This?

Ever want confirmation your products are doing well? How about beating your own records when it comes to opening weekends. Apple has achieved this once again, announcing 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sales in just three days.

The 10 million sales come without one of the most important markets, China. Apple has been adamant to include China, but it looks like this year, the country will have to wait until early 2015, before getting their hands on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

This is an interesting move by Apple, probably spurred on by the fact China’s market is so huge, and their stock is still relatively small. It looks like Apple is holding off a few markets until 2015, to keep production going without stock issues.

The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are only available in 10 countries right now: US, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. Not exactly the complete list, but a good majority of the biggest markets.

Japan is surprisingly one of Apple’s best markets for share between iOS and Android, with more than 50 percent running iOS devices. This pales in comparison to the UK, France and Germany, where iOS adoption is under 15 percent.

Apple has had relatively positive reviews for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, some complained about not having sapphire crystal glass, the protruding camera or the rather lacklustre battery life, even on the iPhone 6 Plus, but overall it looks positive.

This is not the biggest news for investors, everyone knew that Apple would do well with the iPhones. The huge lines outside their store, the two hour crash on their online store and various other examples show the dedication of their fan-base.

What will be interesting is the Apple Watch, will it be the wearable to break the market or just another option, like the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R, but with an extra $100 on the price-tag.
