What's This?

Samsung is preparing a September 4 launch of the Galaxy Note III, according to several inside sources. The phone will be revealed at IFA Berlin 2013, as its two predecessors have in the past.

We suspected the Galaxy Note III would show up at this time, with the Galaxy S4 out for a few months, it is now time for Samsung to reveal their big beast, rumoured to be even larger this time.

However, the company is a well known cannibal of the market, even against their own products. The Galaxy Mega is a 6.3-inch device, so what will Samsung have in store to really push the Galaxy Note III beyond.

According to rumours, the Galaxy Note III will be the top of the pile and will serve as an almost mid-range device, plopping in between the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Mega at 5.8 or 6.0-inches.

It will have a 1080p screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 64GB of storage and all other top end specs. It will also come with major advancements on stylus and handwriting, to match the Xperia Z Ultra.

We believe the Galaxy Note III will come at a big price, perhaps more expensive than the Galaxy S4. The Note smartphone line has been incredibly successful for Samsung, considering they began when everyone though a phone screen over five inches was mad.
