What's This?

From the day the Touch ID was introduced, I have been anticipating the jailbreak tweak potentials for the Touch ID feature on the iPhone 5s.  With the recent release of an untethered jailbreak for iOS7 and A7 chip iOS devices, we have slowly seen some of the popular tweaks become updated and compatible with the likes of the iPhone 5S and new iPad range, the new iPad mini with retina and iPad Air.

Although the iPad Mini with Retina and iPad Air does not have Touch ID, the iPhone 5S does and a simple tweak such as BioProtect will go a long way to adding extra layer of security on our devices meaning you will need to scan your assigned finger to access things like settings or messaging and camera roll.  It is up to you what you protect with it.  BioProtect is a cool tweak that was teased by the developer Limneos recently and is now live in Cydia for $2.99 using BigBoss repo and in order to access the tweak’s preference panel, you’ll need to verify your fingerprint via a scan on the Touch ID sensor.

What do you think of the Tweak? leave a comment below.  Thanks to Will for the Video.
