What's This?

Ubisoft came out guns blazing with a ton of new IP and some franchise updates, with different studios taking the floor and further gameplay for some of the top titles, they also branched this out at the PS4 event held after.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the game reveal at E3 2012, made a second appearance at this years E3. The game shows the Engineers, a clever group of hackers and terrorists, hitting major US targets in The Blacklist. Sam Fisher makes his return, as the rogue tech warrior hunting the various members.

Rayman Legends was the second title revealed and Ubisoft have said this could be one of their top five best games ever, which is something to get excited about. The game will have multiple modes and brings the Rayman franchise back into the gaming sphere.

Ubisoft2

The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot is a new IP from Ubisoft and involves gaining the most epic loot from neighbours, by stealing. The reveal trailer showed how to build a castle, fortify it, defend and the pillage loot from opponents.

Ubisoft4

South Park: The Stick of Truth, was one of the titles Ubisoft gained from the THQ sale and we are glad to see progress has not been halted and this game will be coming out soon. The character Cartman detailed the game would be coming this fall, or next, depending on the game developers.

Ubisoft revealed their newest IP, The Crew, a new driving experience set across the US. While the game still has a lot of questions surrounding it, the developers said the whole of the US has been mapped out and is playable through The Crew. The game will have unique multiplayer elements and will apparently blend the single player, co-op and multiplayer experience together.

Watch Dogs was shown in a live action trailer, with Aidan Pearce, our anti-hero, hunting another target and breaking through several walls of security and protection to get to him. At the PS4 event a game demo was shown and this was a big expansion on the little gameplay we have seen so far.

Just Dance 4 and Rabbids Invasion are two new Kinect games coming from Ubisoft, while the trailers were short, they showed how Kinect would advance the experience on the new gaming platforms.

Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag will be coming to next generation systems and we have seen both live action and in game footage from the Ubisoft and PS4 conference. We are glad to see the gameplay will stay very true to the AC series and sea-fighting will return, with possible expansions, allowing Edward Kenway to sail the high seas and find new places.

Ubisoft9

Trials Fusion and Trials Frontier were both shown at the Ubisoft event, Fusion will be the new game for consoles and Frontier will be the newest game for mobile, coming with dumbed down graphics but new touch elements.

Ubisoft then took to the stage with another incredible IP. Last year they wowed us with Watch Dogs, asking the question of how secure the system was, now this game focuses on how humans could not fight off diseases and now the world is a very corrupt and unlawful place. Tom Clancy: The Division, is the newest game and it looks incredible, with impressive UI, fighting and voice casts.
