The Sony Honami keeps cropping up, even though the next Sony press event could be months away. The new Honami smartphone will take on the Nokia Lumia 1020 and Galaxy S4 Zoom with a 20MP camera and some fancy camera software.
We have got a good look at the Honami smartphone in shoddy leaks but now a press render has leaked onto the web, revealing a large smartphone with a Nokia Lumia 925 bezel-type.
Sony will be developing new camera technology for the Honami and we may see some new features like Samsung offers on the Galaxy S4 Zoom. Sony has a deep understanding of cameras so we are expecting something big from the company.
However, we have seen other press renders that don’t look anything like this. We have seen another press render that was larger and showed a large back camera, but that went against leaked photos of the phone.
Everything seems a little odd and we have to question all the leaks, but this render seems a little more true than the previous one, which just seemed like an impression on what a large camera phone would look like.
