Description

Panes is an app designed to enhance your multitasking experience by creating a user interface in which you can easily switch between tasks (e.g. tweeting, browsing). The App comes pre-loaded with some core mini-apps (also called widgets) which you can switch between.

Multitasking on iPad

Since seeing a sneak preview of Panes from the guys at CNET, I have been patiently waiting for the release to the public.  It was released and I immediately downloaded it and since used it for various purpose.

Have you ever wished you could view latest RSS feed, the weather, your calender and check twitter on one screen without needed to come in and out of apps? well that is exactly what Panes from Inglorious Apps does.  I have come to love the app and use it on daily basis.  Note you will need to drop the developer a quick tweet or email to unlock the special feature at no extra costs.

Panes brings multi-tasking and widgets to the iPad the way it should have been done by twitter with tweetdeck, but thankfully Inglorious Apps’ glorious app solves just that multitasking problem. Once loaded you can have displayed up to three panes with one or two widgets of your choice. You can have Facebook and Twitter side by side or have the internet browser, it has so much rich content you will have to download it to have a feel how awesome it is.
