It seems Samsung will be continuing their ‘Mini’ smartphone line with the latest Galaxy smartphone, if rumours, leaks and photos are anything to go on.
The Galaxy S4 Mini has once again been caught in the wild, this time by Weibo user PunkPanda, who got some really clear snaps of the smartphone.
Previous versions of the Mini on the Galaxy S3 resulted in adequate sales for a mid-range device and offered a smaller Samsung device, for those who wanted Android and TouchWiz at the size of an iPhone.
This time we may see a jolt in quality with the Galaxy S4 Mini, but it will still be a middle of the range smartphone with no unique features to bring it into the top tier market.
We expect the Galaxy S4 Mini to come with a 1.6GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and an 8MP camera. The phone will also be downsized to 4.3-inches, a good seven inch drop against the Galaxy S4.
The back of the Galaxy S4 Mini could be a change formula for Samsung, it will still remain plastic, but will come with a distinctive pattern only seen in certain lights, quite like the Nexus 4.
Overall the Galaxy S4 Mini will just be a downsized, cheaper model, although we still have no details as to the specific pricing and availability of this device.
