What's This?

Sport-back enthusiasts will love this one! Audi’s all new RS3 hot hatch is here and will begin to appear on our roads from July.  The latest iteration of the RS3 is fun to drive, full of entertainment both inside and out; the exterior is fun to look at with big alloy wheels, red brake calipers, wide body kit and exhausts that simply tells any slow drivers to move out of the way.

The exhausts are big and they are also loud, when dropping down gears, you can hear the pop, helping you appreciate the beauty of its 5 cylinder engine.  It is the most powerful hot hatch on sale, with 362bhp and 465Nm of torque to play with, you can really feel it push you to the seat when you kick down for boost.  It will easily do 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds with a maximum speed of 174mph.

The base model is limited to around 155mph, but you can pay more to get the delimited to 174mph.  The interior is clean, yet with premium feel to it; the contrasting stitching on the sports seat, the finishing on the steering wheel and materials used definitely translates into the price tag.

If you want the full package you should be prepared to pay over £50,000.  As standard you get a sat-nav and I also noticed the Bang and Olufsen speakers which you can tweak the audio output using the simple Audi menu options – you can adjust the bass, treble, surround sound and even the sub-woofer.  Even with it’s big engine and fast speeds, Audi said you can still get 35mpg, which I assume will only happen when you drive with care, not when you put its speeds to test all the time.    Check out the pictures and let us know what you think in the comments area below or you can also do so over on Twitter.
