What's This?

We were in Venice to take the 2016 Audi A4 for a spin and as usual, Audi have created a car packed full of some amazing technology to take our eyes off the beautiful Venice views – it’s that intriguing.  Here’s the new Audi A4 in pictures:

Summary of what’s new:

The new Audi A4 is packing a new 6 cylinder engine, lowering fuel consumption by 21% and Audi also managed to shave off a whopping 110 KG of the weight. This is the best Audi CD value of all time and aerodynamically better.  It comes with the Q7 driver assistance we’ve seen before earlier this year and it has a lot of space in the interior with 23ml of Legroom 24ml  headroom and the boot is very spacious with 480 litres available for your shopping bags or travel luggage.

Technology-wise, it comes with a brand new touch key interface and Audi have rolled out the virtual cockpit we saw in the Audi TTS earlier this year to the A4 also, with customisable interface to suit your driving preference. You also get 3D sound , Audi phone box, wireless charging, less radiation in the car  and you can also display your apps by connecting phone via cable.  It also comes with Apple car play, allowing you to have your iOS interface on the multimedia display and with this you also have access to more media options like Beats 1. Tablets can also be included with wifi connectivity, conferencing, car infotainment and crash proof technology.

What’s also new that we are excited about is the Adaptive cruise control, which follows the car ahead, road markings and controls the steering for you, when cruising up to 65kmh.  It’s the closest we will get to autonomous driving experience, although you still have to activate it and keep an eye on it, but it’s mainly there to assist and aid a safer driving experience.
