The DDJ-WeGO is the new entry level DJ controller from Pioneer DJ and is designed to get anyone who has ever dreamed of becoming the next David Guetta, on the decks and mixing music.

The portable and stylish DDJ-WeGO is Pioneer’s most affordable DJ controller yet, with a wide range of features and a size that makes it ideal for anybody looking to make their first tentative steps into the DJ world. A MacBook Pro is an ideal companion to the DDJ-WeGO’s included software, which works with ‘Mac-only’ Algoriddim or Virtual DJ. Optimised for use with Apple products, it is a stylish and exciting unit for any Apple product owners who have an interest in making music.

Martin Dockree,UKsales manager at Pioneer DJ, said: “The DDJ-WeGO is a great fit for Apple stores, especially with software being such a big part of the industry and we hope that this will really help bring DJing to the masses. Apple stores are renowned for the unique customer experience, and the DDJ-WeGO gives people a unique opportunity to try their hand at mixing tracks and making music.

“At an affordable price-point, the DDJ-WeGO makes DJing far more accessible, whereas in the past it may have been perceived as too expensive for a hobby. We are thrilled to be working with Apple and together we can really help the DJ industry to grow.”

Not only will the DDJ-WeGO go into the Apple Online Store and Apple Retail stores in theUK, but it will also be available on the Apple Online Store throughoutEuropeand from selected Apple Retail stores acrossEurope. The popular DDJ-Ergo Limited controller is also available to purchase on the Apple website and selected Apple retail stores across Europe, for those who want to move up to the next controller in the Pioneer DJ range.

Software has been a major part of the DJ industry for a number of years now, and Apple laptops can be seen in DJ booths across the world, as the preferred platform to run the programmes on. The majority of DJ controllers require a laptop to function, making the laptop just as important as the DJ hardware. Apple and Pioneer are bringing the two together to make the customer journey even simpler.
