ASUS Announces a New… Smartwatch?

ASUS recently unveiled the VivoWatch 6 Aero, a lightweight 27-gram fitness tracker that competes with devices from Fitbit, Garmin, Huawei, and Xiaomi. It packs a 1.1-inch AMOLED touch display, seven-day battery life and several sensors such as ECG and PPG for cardiovascular monitoring, GPS for precise tracking, and a G-sensor for motion detection. It also supports both Android and iOS devices through Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity.
Fitbit Continues to Part Ways with Google Assistant

Fitbit will be phasing out Google Assistant support on the Versa 3 and Sense smartwatches, following an announcement on the official Fitbit Community forums. This means that voice control for activities via Google Assistant will no longer be available on these devices—this is the latest move in a series of changes that Google has implemented with the Fitbit brand since its acquisition, including reduced availability and support in some regions and the shutdown of the Fitbit website prior.
Android 16’s Last Beta Update Rolls Out

Google has released the final Android 16 beta update, marking the second platform stability release and indicating that developer APIs and app-facing behavior are finalized. This fourth beta update is available for supported Pixel devices including select models from Honor, iQOO, Lenovo, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, vivo, and Xiaomi, and provides developers with the latest optimizations for Android 16, enabling them to finalize their app testing before the big update arrives in June.
Motorola Unveils its Latest Tablet

Motorola recently took the wraps off the Moto Pad 60, which packs quite a punch especially with its relatively cheap price. The device features a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, a 12.7-inch display with a sharp 2944×1840 resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, all encased in a full-metal chassis with IP52 certification. Also included is a 10,200 mAh battery, a 13MP rear and an 8MP front camera, a bundled stylus, and an integrated fingerprint scanner.
Motorola Wants to Win Stylus Users with its New Phone

Another recent Motorola launch, the Moto Edge 60 Stylus is positioned in to compete within the upper-mid-tier range, and is priced at around $340. The phone features a 6.7-inch P-OLED display, a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB expandable storage, a 5,000 mAh battery with fast wired and wireless charging, and productivity-focused features like Moto Note and generative AI tools. The phone does come with Android 15, although users only get two years of major Android upgrades with the handset.
