What's This?

Following the launch of the rather-divisive Nothing Phone (3), the company has recently added a new piece to its product lineup with the arrival of the CMF Watch 3 Pro, which falls under Nothing’s more affordable CMF sub-brand. Priced starting at £99, the Watch 3 Pro wants to win over budget buyers who are after a wide set of features designed for health and fitness tracking.

As such, Nothing says that the new watch comes with some much-welcome improvements over the Watch 2 Pro, at least in terms of its overall hardware and software features. This includes a newer dual-brand GPS which is capable of providing more accurate positioning data, as well as route tracking for different locales and such. For heart data tracking, there’s also a new four-channel HR sensor which Nothing says is better-tuned for more accurate readings.

In terms of design, the CMF Watch 3 Pro somewhat retains the chunky look of its predecessor, although the bezels are slightly thinner this time around. The watch comes with an AMOLED screen that measures 1.43 inches, and also supports Always-On display functionality. Like most smartwatches, it also comes with an IP68 rating for added dust and water protection, with Nothing offering Orange, Dark Grey, and Light Grey colour models. Nothing adds that the watch’s battery can last for up to two weeks, which is common for a lot of other smartwatches these days.

One thing to note however is that the watch does not run on Google’s Wear OS platform, which is why it’s able to last for so long per charge. Nothing has installed a custom software system inside, which allows users to connect the Watch 3 Pro with the Nothing X app; there’s also support for different apps and software services including Strava, Apple Health, and Google Health Connect, and up to 120 different customizable watch faces. AI functionality is included via ChatGPT integration, which also supports voice commands, and user queries.

Of course, you also get the usual suite of tracking features that are seen on most smartwatches these days, such as blood oxygen monitoring, sleep and stress tracking, as well as support for menstrual health monitoring and data. Additionally, users can choose from around 130+ sports modes, and also access an MET-based Active Score that summarizes weekly activities.
