What's This?

Just recently, OnePlus announced that it was launching its new OnePlus 15 flagship for international markets, and it’s no surprise that the brand’s latest and greatest Android handset comes with some rather-impressive hardware, at a price that’s not too different from competing high-end phones from other brands. With that said, it’s finally available for buyers in the UK, and we’ve also published our full-length video review which you can watch below.

As such, OnePlus has also introduced a lot of major changes to the device, including the end of its partnership with camera brand Hasselblad. if you’ve somehow missed the device’s global debut (or aren’t too familiar with it), here’s a recap of what you should know about the OnePlus 15.

Let’s start with its design—unlike older OnePlus handsets, the phone now comes with flat sides all around, and is available in three different colours including Black, Violet, and a new “Sandstorm” model, all of which come with reinforced glass on both the front and back. OnePlus has also equipped the 15 IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K protection against dust, water, and splashes, but one key design change is the removal of the signature alert slider, which has now been replaced by a dedicated action button. For its display you’ll find a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO screen with an incredibly smooth 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1800 nits.

The OnePlus 15 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, which is accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, which should be more than enough to handle most games. More impressively, the phone also features a massive 7,000mAh battery, which also comes with insanely-fast 120W charging speeds. The phone also features a 360-degree Cryo-Velocity Cooling System which consists of a large 3D vapour chamber, aerogel insulation, and a graphite back cover to keep things from getting too heated up.

As mentioned earlier, the phone no longer carries the Hasselblad logo. OnePlus has opted instead for its own in-house camera processing technology, in addition to a hardware setup which includes a triple-lens setup with a 50MP wide lens with f 1/8 aperture and OIS, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, and a 50MP ultrawide lens.

The OnePlus 15 goes head-to-head with the likes of the Google Pixel 10, Samsung Galaxy S25 and iPhone 17, although it certainly has an advantage when it comes to battery and performance capabilities. Will you be getting one? Let us know in the comments below!
