Just recently, Motorola refreshed its Moto G Stylus line with a new 2025 model that comes with some new tricks up its sleeve such as a newer processor and AI features. The Moto G Stylus series always served as a more budget-friendly alternative to Samsung’s Galaxy Note series devices, offering a similar use-case thanks to its built-in stylus and productivity features, although it looks like Motorola is looking to offer potential buyers with a more premium approach to this product strategy.

Enter the Moto Edge 60 Stylus, which is the first-ever handset in the Moto Edge series to be equipped with a writing tool. While it’s currently only available for buyers in India (we’re hoping that it makes its way here eventually) for less than 200 quid, its low price doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of compromises. Let’s take a look!

Much like Motorola’s other Edge series smartphones, the Edge 60 Stylus comes with a sleek-looking design that’s telling of its midrange origins. Its IP68-rated chassis is wrapped around a large 6.7-inch P-OLED display which peaks at 3000 nits of brightness, and comes with a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s also reasonably sharp with a 1220 x 2712 pixel resolution, although it only features gorilla Glass 3 protection—we suppose Motorola had to cut certain corners at some point. This chassis also houses the included stylus, which provides access to several productivity features. Inside you’ll find Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip running the show, with a single RAM and storage variant at 8GB and 256GB respectively, although you can expand storage by way of a microSD card slot.

This includes Motorola’s own Note app, in addition to AI-based software features that allow users to transform their doodles into full-on AI sketches, and other staples like Google Circle to Search. The phone comes with Android 15 onboard, although there’s a catch—Motorola says that it will only provide two years of major software updates for the device, which is a bit of a downer especially in a day and age where most smartphones come with up to seven years of support.

In terms of photography, the Moto Edge 60 Stylus comes with a pair of cameras on the rear panel, consisting of a main 50MP camera, which is accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide camera. The front of the phone comes with a 32MP camera which handles selfies and video calls. The phone will be able to record video clips in 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, and this works for both the front and back cameras. Finally, powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 68W wired charging, as well as 15W wireless charging.
