What's This?

Here’s what I think so far, but someone else in the team will take it to a different location and do some more testing.

  1. 9:55 – stated “3.12 Megabytes / second” which should state 3.12 MegaBITS / second. If it *were* MegaBytes, you would be looking at around 31.2 Megabits / second which is currently unavailable in UK.

    • No it is MBps and the whole point is they claim it’s faster and some claim they got 10MBps via the premium version.

      • If it were MBps it would say MBps, but it in fact says Mbps on the screen. Three aren’t using technology to go above 7.2Mbps, which is their claimed theoretical limit. https://www.three.co.uk/Mobile_Broadband/Coverage_speed

If someone claims that they’re getting 10MBps then the *only* explanation is that they are participating in a 4G test which has an anticipated 100Mbps connection.

        • i do agree with you (Confusion speedtest part). I’ve ran some other test, new clip will be out soon. I did read that, however the claims of 10MBps weren’t 4G tests i can assure you. Do you own a dongle yourself? and email me gadgets@gadgetsboy.co.uk. Take our discussion further.
