With November officially here it’s only a matter of weeks before we bid farewell to 2025, and what a year it’s been. Zooming in a bit though, this week has been pretty stacked as well, and we got to see some pretty cool announcements from our favourite tech brands far and wide. So without any further ado, here’s a quick rundown of this week’s tech headlines—let’s get started!
Google Confirms New Fitbit Hardware is Coming

It’s been a while since we saw a brand new Fitbit smartwatch from Google since it completed its take over of the brand, and while many speculated that the Fitbit line was dead it looks like the company still has some life left in it. Google recently confirmed that it’s working on new Fitbit hardware, which will supposedly arrive sometime in 2026. Not much was specified, although the new device (or devices) will support the new Fitbit Health Coach.
Here’s a Look at the Upcoming Pixel 10a

Google’s Pixel 10a smartphone is still a long way from launch, but we’ve already gotten an idea of how it’s going to look like, courtesy of a handful of leaked renders from @Onleaks and Android Headlines. Unsurprisingly though, it comes with a design that very much resembles the Pixel 9a, save for a few tweaks to the camera cutout alignment as well as what appear to be slimmer bezels. The phone is rumoured to come with the Tensor G4 chip, which is the same processor currently used in the Pixel 9a.
Vivo’s X300 Series Finally Arrive for More Markets Worldwide

Earlier this month, Vivo finally unveiled its X300 series flagship phones, which come with premium hardware in addition to a camera-focused user experience. With that in mind, the phones were initially only exclusive for buyers in China, although Vivo has now finally announced their availability for more regions including several countries in Europe. One big highlight of the X300 models are their camera setups which Vivo developed in collaboration with Zeiss, as well as MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 processor.
The Nothing Phone 3a Lite is Here, and it’s Priced at Just £249

Nothing recently announced a new budget-friendly phone dubbed the Nothing Phone 3a Lite, which starts at just £249 here in the United Kingdom and carries a lot of the same DNA which give Nothing phones their unique identity. Available in black and white, the Phone 3a Lite ditches Nothing’s usually-complex Glyph notification system in lieu of a more modest notification LED, and features a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 Pro chip, and a triple-camera setup.
The Insta360 X4 Air Weighs just 165 grams, and Comes with 8K Video Recording

And finally we have Insta360—the company took the wraps off its new X4 Air, its newest addition to its portable camera lineup under its X series. The Insta360 X4 Air is now available with a Standard Bundle priced at £359.99, and only comes in at around 165 grams making it one of the more pocket-friendly cameras available on the market. Insta360 adds that the camera has been engineered to withstand most outdoor situations with waterproofing for up to 49 feet of depth. It also comes with dual 1/1.8-inch sensors and can record 360 video in 8K resolution, something that’s not often seen on most compact action cameras at this price.
