What's This?

With all the consumer tech launches that we’ve covered this year, one thing remains true—China is getting a lot of the good stuff, and this includes everything from insane fast-charging speeds to humongous battery capacities. That in mind, Realme has just announced the Neo7 Turbo in China, which is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400e chipset, which includes a 3.4 GHz Cortex-X4 core. What else does it come with though?

As for its display, the Neo7 Turbo features a massive 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits, and runs on a 7,200 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. Given the high-powered chip inside, this should be enough for most users who are looking for a smooth phone with all-day endurance, and even mobile gamers on the hunt for a device that could get them through a few matches. You’re also getting up to 512GB of internal storage, as well as 16GB of RAM onboard.

Realme adds that the phone is capable of reaching 50% charge in 18 minutes, and a full charge in 47 minutes, which should come in handy for those situations when you don’t have a lot of time to spare for a lengthy charging session. For thermal management, the phone comes with a 7,700 sq.mm vapor chamber. The phone is also rated for IP66, IP68, and IP69 ingress protection for dust and water resistance. The phone is available in transparent black and transparent white colour options.

For mobile photography, the Neo7 Turbo comes with a mostly-standard setup that features a 50 MP main sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide lens on the rear, housed within considerably-large camera bumps; you’re also getting a 16MP camera for selfies and video calls. As expected, the phone runs on Realme UI 6.0 (based on Android 15) and integrates a ton of AI features with features such as object removal in photos, and even text/audio summarization. It also includes a “Fluid Cloud 2.0” feature, similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island notification system.

Pricing for the Realme Neo7 Turbo in China begins at CNY 1,999 (approximately $280/€250) for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage configuration, with the top-tier 16GB RAM/512GB storage model priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately $375/€330). As of this time though, there are no confirmed plans for a wider global roll-out yet.
