Remember the Samsung Galaxy A56? Several months ago, Samsung announced its current crop of A-series midrange devices for 2025, which included the Samsung Galaxy A26, A36, and A56. While the first two were quickly made available to markets worldwide, it can be remembered that it took a while for the Galaxy A56 for roll out for different regions, including the United States. With that said though, it looks like Samsung has finally made the Galaxy A56 available for buyers in North America.

As for its actual availability, buyers who have patiently waited for the Galaxy A56 can now get it from Samsung itself (online or via physical stores) for $499, which gets you 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a 256GB model available, although it’s a bit more expensive at $549; additionally, buyers have the option of trading in select devices, which takes $150 off from the total price. Samsung is also offering installments either in $125 increments, or around 20 bucks monthly for 24 months.

It should be noted that the Samsung Galaxy A26, A36 and A56 come with a lot of similar specifications. For example, the devices feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. You’re also getting Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on all three models, as well as IP67 dust and water protection. The Galaxy A56 does feature a metal frame though, while the A26 and A36 make do with plastic sides. Another difference is that the Galaxy A56 comes with Samsung’s very own Exynos 1580 chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage, with an option of 256GB as mentioned earlier.

Other details include a triple-camera setup with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera and an 8MP macro camera, a 5,000 mAh battery, as well as up to six major Android upgrades. In other Samsung news, the company has been quite busy over the past couple of weeks following the launch of its newest foldables, the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Z Fold7. Samsung also announced its latest Galaxy Watch8 series, which features new design changes. With all that being said, the Galaxy A56 has been available for buyers in the UK since its announcement (in case you already didn’t know), as well as India and Europe.
