What's This?

With CES 2026 currently underway, pretty much every mainstream consumer electronics brand has now unveiled some of their biggest upcoming projects and products, and it’s safe to say that so far we’ve seen a lot of cool and impressive tech. Not one to get left behind, South Korean tech giant Samsung took to stage to announce its new 130-inch Micro RGB TV (R95H model), the company’s largest Micro RGB display to date.

Samsung says that the new TV is designed using its “Timeless Frame” design approach, which combines modern electronics with a more art-focused approach, featuring a design that you’d expect to see in an art gallery or studio. Along with the slim bezels, Samsung has also built the speakers into the sides of the display which keeps its overall slim feel, although it interestingly features a setup that includes an external frame, allowing the display to float unlike most standard displays.

Of course, the main highlight of the new TV is its massive 130-inch Micro RGB display, which the company says runs on the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro. In addition to this, the TV is also equipped with built-in AI features that allow the TV to enhance colour tones and contrast. With AI being injected into pretty much every new tech product these days, it’s not too surprising to see it make its way into Samsung’s latest home entertainment display.

Samsung adds that the TV comes with Micro RGB Precision Color 100, delivering 100% of the BT.2020 wide color gamut. Certified by the Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for precise Micro RGB colour reproduction, it produces finely controlled hues with a more life-like appearance onscreen. The 130-inch model also includes Samsung’s proprietary Glare Free technology, which minimizes reflections, and better preserves clear colour and contrast across a variety of lighting conditions for an improved viewing experience.

Other features include support for HDR10+ ADVANCED and Eclipsa Audio for picture and sound, as well as Samsung’s built-in Vision AI Companion, which gives users access to conversational search, proactive recommendations and access to AI features and apps such as AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity. The new TV is on display at Samsung’s booth at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.
