What's This?

Apple may be bringing a third colour to the iPhone 5S line up this year, alongside silver and matte black. We have recently heard and seen what appears to be either champagne, gold or bronze as a colour option.

No idea what the phone colour will end up being called, but Apple seems confident to bring a new colour to the lineup after five years of black and white. We have seen the iPod get colour changes and rumours are floating around about the iPad Mini possibly getting a few new colour options.

Apart from the new iPhone 5S colour, new reports say the phone will have a dual-LED flash and 8MP camera, with f/2.0 aperture to capture more light while taking photos. This will be good for taking photos in low-light, even though this is not one of the major problems on the iPhone 5 camera.

The Home button on the iPhone 5S will be changed in line with the fingerprint sensor added. We have not seen any photos of the new fingerprint button though and the photos leaked only yesterday showed the same Home button as the iPhone 5.

The iPhone 5S seems to be little more than a filler for the iPhone 6, as the S model on the iPhone always has been. Apple did say there would be no true innovative products coming this year, despite the fact iOS7 just arrived.

Referencing the low-cost iPhone, Japanese website Mac Otakara said the phone will indeed be called the iPhone 5C. The C model will stand for colours, apparently. The low-cost model will be made from polycarbonate and glass-fibre, hopefully the phone does not feel as cheap as a Samsung device.
