What's This?

Last year in Barcelona Nokia announced a wide range of new devices to keep up with the very fast paced smart phone market and this year is no different.  Nokia are now looking to tap into the Android market with a heavily skinned version of Android.  A lot of Nokia users love Nokia designs and have always wished they had Android OS on them; whether it will be a success or not, only time will tell, but for now here are the devices launched today.

X marks the spot! – Nokia X and Nokia X Plus

Nokia X series will be Nokia’s first time running  Android,  powered by Nokia and Microsoft services, it will be able to run Android applications and come at the lower end of the budget pricing, aiming at the emerging markets.

The X series will not run apps or allow apps download from Play store, but will however have Nokia’s own version of the store to allow dedicated and optimised apps for the X series.  Both devices will have  a 4-inch display and extra memory and storage through a microSD card.
