If you’re looking to grab a new pair of wireless earbuds, then you might want to check out what Beats has been cooking up. The Apple-owned audio brand recently introduced the Powerbeats Fit, which is its newest addition to the fitness-oriented Powerbeats family. Beats says that the new earbuds are designed for enhanced durability and comfort, which should make them ideal for active lifestyles.

The Powerbeats Fit features a redesigned, wingtip that comes with a more secure fit for better stability, which takes some cues from the Powerbeats Pro earhook, albeit in a more compact form. As they’re designed for workouts, runs and the outdoors in general, the earbuds and the charging case are IPX4-rated for sweat and water resistance, which makes them pretty safe to use in any weather. Additionally, the earbuds also come with four ear tip sizes, so you should be pretty much covered no matter which size you prefer.

For audio, the Powerbeats Fit comes with what Beats describes as a “custom acoustic platform,” including support for Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for a more immersive sound. The earbuds also include Adaptive EQ which can automatically tailor the sound based on a user’s ears. As with most other modern earbuds, they feature Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) with Transparency mode for those times when you might need to hear your surroundings better, such as in crowded places or when on the move.

As Apple does own the Beats brand, it’s unsurprising to see some of the Cupertino tech giant’s hardware on the new earbuds. The Powerbeats Fit buds come with the Apple H1 chip, and iOS users get some exclusive features including Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, and hands-free “Hey Siri,” while Android users get one-touch pairing and customizable controls via the Beats App. The earbuds can last for up to seven hours of listening time on a single charge, with a maximum of 30 hours total with the charging case, which itself is redesigned to be 17% smaller than the previous model.
