Earlier this month, Vivo finally unveiled its X300 series flagship phones, which come with premium hardware in addition to a camera-focused user experience. With that in mind, the phones were initially only exclusive for buyers in China, although Vivo has now finally announced their availability for more regions including several countries in Europe. In case you missed their initial launch, here’s a quick recap of what Vivo is offering with the X300 series.

One big highlight of the X300 models are their camera capabilities, which Vivo has developed in collaboration with Zeiss. The X300 Pro in particular Vivo features a triple-camera array which consists of a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide sensor, and a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto sensor, and a 50MP selfie camera in front. Interestingly, Vivo is also offering a special accessory bundle which allows users to fix a camera attachment on the rear of the phone.

Instead of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon flagship chip, the Vivo X300 series instead uses MediaTek’s latest Dimensity 9500 processor, which is accompanied by different RAM and storage configurations at 12GB or 16GB for the Pro, paired with 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, respectively. For software, the phone comes with Origin OS, which comes with exclusive apps and software services from Vivo. There’s also a massive 6,510mAh battery inside, which can charge at up to 90W speeds, and even 40W wireless charging support. The front of the phone comes with a 6.78-inch display that features a 1.5K resolution as well as a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, the “regular” X300 variant does come with some changes to hardware, such as a smaller 6.3-inch display, and a smaller 6040mAh battery. Interestingly though, it features a higher-resolution main sensor, at 200 megapixels, although the rest of the phone is pretty similar overall to its more expensive sibling, including the design with the massive camera cutout. Both phones also support 4K video recording at a maximum of 120 fps, although the X300 Pro takes things one step further with 8K video recording support.
