What's This?

We’re finally at the last week of November 2025, and while this week was a bit slow in terms of big hardware launches, that doesn’t necessarily mean that it was a quiet one either. In fact, Google pretty much surprised everyone (even Apple users) with its new big update which finally brings AirDrop compatibility to select Pixel models, and we also got a sweet new action cam courtesy of DJI’s Osmo series. With that said, let’s get started!

Google’s New Update Brings Quick Share-to-AirDrop Connectivity

Let’s start off with one of the bigger headlines—Google recently unveiled that it’s been working on a way to allow Pixel users to share files with iOS users by way of interconnectivity between Quick Share and AirDrop. The best thing about it is that neither Pixel or iPhone users will have to install an additional third-party for it to work. Instead, Pixel 10 owners will need to wait for an update from Google which will bring Quick Share-AirDrop connectivity to their device. Once it becomes available, the target iOS device will need to enable visibility to “everyone for 10 minutes” on their device to allow the Pixel phone to connect and send (or receive) files.

The DJI Osmo Action 6 Finally Makes its Debut

Not too long after the debut of the NEO 2 drone, DJI has now added a new expansion to its action camera lineup with the new Osmo Action 6. The new camera comes with a 1/1.1-inch square sensor, and is capable of taking up to high-resolution 38MP photos. The Action 6 also allows users to adjust the aperture between f2.0 for low-light performance and f4.0 for brighter conditions, which also replaces the previous fixed f2.8 lens. There’s also support for up to 13.5 stops of dynamic range and 10-bit D-Log M color, making it a pretty versatile imaging option for different lighting environments.

Meet the Terra M, HMD’s New Rugged Phone

Finnish tech brand and former Nokia licensee HMD recently teased a new and upcoming addition to its handset lineup, which it refers to as the Terra M. One big highlight of the new handset is that it’s meant as an “enterprise” phone, which essentially means that it’s designed more for business use for large corporate operations. It’s also designed to be durable thanks to its MIL-STD-810 certification, as well as IP68/69K dust and water protection. It’s scheduled to launch sometime in 2026.

Android Auto Gets an AI Boost with Gemini

Google recently announced that it’s now started rolling out Gemini for Android Auto, which brings a suite of new conversational tools in addition to Enhanced Navigation in Google Maps and Smarter Messaging, as well as hands-free message summarization, for quick access to important details such as addressed in Gmail for example. It also brings conversational integration with Google Calendar, Tasks, Keep, and Samsung apps.
