Audio veteran Edifier spent last year developing and launching several new products, and it looks like the brand is looking to continue its trajectory throughout 2026. That in mind, Edifier recently announced its latest range of audio products at CES 2026, which includes updated active speakers, studio monitors, and new HDMI connectivity across several series. The new products are also aimed at bridging the gap between specialized desktop audio and general home entertainment.

Up first is the Edifier M90, a flagship-tier speaker which succeeds the M60 model, and is designed for use with PCs, televisions, and gaming consoles. The unit features a two-way design equipped with a 4-inch mid-low driver and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter, and is capable of delivering 100W RMS power and a sound pressure level of 100dB. Other features include bi-amped 24-bit/96kHz DSP and a wide array of inputs, such as Optical, USB-C, HDMI eARC, and Bluetooth 6.0 with LDAC support.

Edifier also introduced the MR Series and the Near-Middle Field Series—the MR3 and MR5 near-field monitor are designed for compact studio environments and feature room compensation and tonal tuning. For larger workspaces, the new XR6 three-way active monitor includes built-in auto-calibration software that uses acoustic analysis to optimize performance based on the specific room environment.

Also shown were the new QR Series, which consists of the QR65 and QR30. Both speakers focus on a minimalist aesthetic designed with streamers and remote workers in mind, and even include “Infinity Mirror” RGB lighting designed to be less distracting than traditional gaming peripherals. The QR65 provides 70W RMS output and also includes a built-in Gallium Nitride (GaN) fast charger to assist with cable management on desktop setups.
Finally, Edifier added that it’s been working towards a broader integration of HDMI eARC into standalone active speakers, which is a much-welcome addition in today’s more competitive market. In addition to the M90, the company added high-bandwidth connectivity to the R2750MKII and S355DB models in order too better support high-resolution audio from modern media players and displays.
