What's This?

Android tablets are definitely making a comeback, and while we’ve witnessed some pretty awesome devices like ones from Lenovo and OnePlus (to name a couple), this also includes a myriad of more affordable options from budget-friendly brands like Infinix. In fact, Infinix recently announced the Xpad 20 tablet, which comes with some decent specs in addition to a rather wallet-friendly price.

On the front, the Xpad 20 features an 11.0-inch IPS LCD, offering a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 440 nits. The display resolution is 1200 x 1920 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio, which packs a screen density of 206 ppi. It’s not the most impressive setup out there, but given the tablet’s budget pricing we reckon that most users will just need this as a relatively-accessible way to binge YouTube and Netflix shows, and a bit of gaming on-the-go.

Speaking of gaming, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88, a rather-old 12 nm chipset that should be enough for most simple and casual puzzle games and the like. It does come with Infinix’s own proprietary Android skin, which runs on top of Android 15 with built-in AI features and exclusive Infinix apps. It also features pretty “standard” storage options which include 128GB of internal storage, with either 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of RAM, although there’s a more roomy 256GB variant with 8GB of RAM. If these aren’t enough for you, it does come with a dedicated microSDXC card slot that’s available for expandable storage.

For photography, the Xpad 20 is equipped with an 8MP single main camera that surprisingly includes an LED flash and panorama, and is capable of recording video at 1080p@30fps. There’s a 5MP camera in front for selfies and video calls. Other features on the tablet include stereo speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The device is powered by a 7000 mAh battery which supports 10W wired charging, and should make it for more than a day in most situations.

The Infinix Xpad 20 will be available in several colour options including Stellar Grey, Forest Green, Dreamy Purple, and Rising Red, with pricing information to follow.
