What's This?

We’re finally in the last few months of 2025, but it’s clear that a ton of tech brands still have aces up their sleeves, or in Oppo’s case, a couple of aces. As such, the company finally unveiled its much-anticipated Find X9 Series, which is set to hit international markets on October 28, 2025. Oppo has clearly positioned both the Find X9 and the X9 Pro as camera-centric flagship handsets, although the new phones come with a ton more features in the mix.

Powering both devices is the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which has so far shown very impressive performance benchmarks, even challenging the likes of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The new phones also feature silicon carbon batteries with larger capacities, although there are some differences given that both come with different sizes—the standard Find X9 comes with a 7025mAh battery, while the larger X9 Pro runs on a 7500mAh cell.

Both the Find X9 and X9 Pro also come with AMOLED displays, although the latter features an LTPO panel as well. They are pretty large, with a 6.59-inch screen on the X9, and a 6.78-inch screen on the larger Pro model. They also feature similar designs with Gorilla Glass panels on both the front and back, surrounded by an aluminium frame all around the sides.

Going back to the cameras, the two phones are equipped with triple-camera setups with 50MP main lenses, although the Find X9 Pro sets itself apart with a rather impressive 200MP telephoto lens, which was developed in partnership with Hasselblad. Users also have the option of grabbing Oppo’s optional extender lens accessory with an optical 10x zoom at a 230mm equivalent focal length. Both phones also support 4K/120fps video recording in cinematic Dolby Vision HDR and professional Log recording, with OPPO’s proprietary Lumo image processing engine doing some of the heavy lifting.

The global versions of the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will ship with full Google services access with ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16. OPPO has also confirmed that the Find X9 Pro including its optional lens attachment will be available globally without regional software restrictions, unlike its predecessor. There are no international price details at the moment though, although we’re bound to know more once the phones go live for more regions on 28 October.
