In need of a fairly portable gaming laptop? Fear not, as Razer recently announced its newest addition to its Razer Blade line with the new Blade 14. Measuring just 15.7mm thick, the laptop is powered by hardware from NVIDIA and AMD, and comes with a myriad of other impressive features all over.

Razer says that the Blade 14’s redesigned look was developed with an emphasis portability and performance, with a thermal design that manages to keep heat and airflow in check despite the machine’s more compact form factor. The laptop can also be configured with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU and an AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. The GPUs are based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, and there’s also NVIDIA DLSS 4 onboard for improved gaming visuals, in addition to access to NVIDIA NIM Microservices for AI model development.

Meanwhile, the Blade 14’s AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 includes a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) with a stated performance of up to 50 TOPS. Razer says that the processor is capable of increased AI computing performance compared to previous generations, with enough resoruces to run AI-based software such as Copilot+, Recall, Cocreate, and Live Captions. The processor also has 10 Cores/20 Threads with a boost clock speed of up to 5.0 GHz, and a base clock speed of 2 GHz, and can be configured with up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X memory with a speed of 8000 MHz.

The Razer Blade 14 also features a 3K-resolution OLED display, with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate that’s ideal for different types of usage, from casual use and work all the way up to Netflix binges and gaming. The laptop is wrapped up in a chassis with a sleek aluminium build, in addition to a sand-blasted texture and anodized matte finish which houses several connectivity ports, including a UHS-II MicroSD card reader, two USB4 Type-C ports, and a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port. Powering this entire setup is a 72 Whr battery which can last for up to 11 hours of on-screen time, although this will vary by user.

Other details include an audio system built around six speakers with THX Spatial Audio, a keyboard setup which features per-key Chroma RGB lighting, and a glass touchpad as well. The new Raze Blade 14 is priced starting at $2,299.99.
