When it comes to PC peripherals, there are tons of brands on the market to choose from, although it’s safe to say that you won’t get a consistent level of quality especially with more “unknown” or cheaper options. Of course, you can always opt to go for a name like Razer, which has a pretty solid track record when it comes to accessories, to say the least. The company recently announced the release of two new wireless mice with the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition and the Razer Pro Click V2.

Taking a few pages from its gaming-oriented playbook, Razer has designed the new Pro Click V2 models to be ergonomic while keeping them suitable for productivity, such as content creation and all-around work scenarios. What else do they come with though?

The Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition is essentially Razer’s first vertical ergonomic mouse, featuring a 71.7º angle that mimics a “natural handshake” grip. It even includes an extended thumb rest and a base designed to elevate a user’s wrist for better comfort. Meanwhile, the “standard” Razer Pro Click V2 features a 30º tilted angle which provides a more neutral hand posture, and is designed to fit the natural resting position of the hand which rubberized side grips as well.
Both models come with Razer’s AI Prompt Master, an AI-based productivity feature that lets users instantly access third-party AI software such as ChatGPT and Microsoft’s Copilot AI Engine. This feature is assigned to a dedicated button and lets users rephrase, summarize, and create prompts. Additionally, the Razer Pro Click V2 also features Razer’s own HyperScroll Technology, which comes with Free-Spin Scrolling for faster navigation and Tactile Cycling for a more precise approach.

Razer has equipped both models with its Focus Pro 30K Optical Sensor, and the company claims that this allows for 99.8% resolution accuracy and the ability to track on smooth surfaces such as glass, and the mechanical switches inside are rated for up to 60 million clicks. You also get multi-zone lighting with full underglow with Razer’s signature Chroma RGB, which also includes support for customizable lighting effects and reactive RGB notifications.
