What's This?

When it comes to a lot of Chinese-branded Android phones, there are a ton of awesome devices out there which sadly never make their way to Western shores due to a variety of different reasons. In the case of the OnePlus 13s, it looks like the company is intent on keeping it exclusive for buyers in India at the moment. You can of course always opt to import it instead, in which case you might be curious as to what kind of specs and features the OnePlus 13s comes with.

In terms of its overall size, the OnePlus 13s features a more “compact” form factor, at least when compared to most smartphones on the market these days. You’ll find a 6.32-inch display in front, which is based around an LTPO OLED panel with a 1,216 x 2,640 pixel resolution, and your usual 120Hz refresh rate. It gets moderately bright with a peak of 1,600 nits, which should be enough for most outdoor situations when using the phone under bright daylight.

One key design difference this time around is the disappearance of OnePlus’ signature alert slider, which has now been replaced by a reprogrammable “Plus Button,” which can launch AI software features or user-selected app functions (kinda like what Apple does). You can read more on that here.

Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same processor found in a lot of other flagship handsets this year. It’s also paired with 12GB of RAM, and buyers have a choice of either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, with the latter being a tad more expensive. Powering the phone is a 5,850 mAh battery, which is impressive considering the overall size of the 13s. It also supports OnePlus’ SuperVOOC 80W charging, which will work with certain chargers and cables.

For photography, the OnePlus 13s features a dual-camera system on the rear. The primary camera is a 50MP shooter with a Sony LYT-700 sensor, and is accompanied by a 50MP 2x telephoto lens with a Samsung JN5 sensor and aperture, with support for electronic stabilization. Both rear cameras can record 4K video at 60fps with Dolby Vision HDR. A 32MP camera in front handles selfies and video calls.

Finally, the OnePlus 13s launches with Android 15 onboard, layered with OnePlus’ own OxygenOS 15 on top. It’s priced starting at around 550-560 EUR (when converted).
