What's This?

True to form, Xiaomi has once again expanded its ever-growing lineup of wallet-friendly devices under its Redmi line. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro comes with a price that’s reasonably lower than what most competitors offer, and sets itself apart even further thanks to Qualcomm’s all-powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It’s currently exclusive for buyers in China however, but what other specs does it come with? Let’s take a look!

Let’s take a look at the display—the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro features a pretty large 6.83-inch OLED screen, which packs a resolution of 2,772 x 1,280 pixels and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate which should provide an immersive experience for casual apps as well as gaming and content consumption. There’s also an optical fingerprint scanner built within, and the display gets pretty bright at a peak of 1,600 nits, a handy feature to have especially when viewing the display in outdoor conditions.

Going back to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, you also get a variety of different memory and storage configurations, with up to 16GB of RAM and a rather generous 1TB of internal storage. For software, you get Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 on top of Android 15, and powering this entire setup is a 7,550 mAh silicon-carbon battery which supports 90W wired charging. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro can also function as a portable power bank, capable of charging other devices via reverse wired charging at speeds up to 22.5W.

As for photography, the handset features a 50MP primary camera that uses an LYT-600 sensor accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens, which is similar to the setup found on the standard Redmi Turbo 4; there’s also a 20MP camera in front for selfies and video calls. The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is available in black, white, and green colour options, although Xiaomi has also collaborated with Warner Bros. to launch a special Harry Potter edition, which will feature unique design elements themed to the popular film and book franchise. The phone’s design also features IP68 dust and water resistance.
