What's This?

ZTE is still going at it, it seems—the veteran smartphone manufacturer recently launched its latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Blade A76. While ZTE hasn’t confirmed pricing and availability for the device yet, it’s clear that the phone is intended for users who are looking for a budget-friendly option with just the right amount of basics thrown in, including a large battery, high-resolution camera, and a large display.

The Blade A76 features a 6.75-inch IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, a common sight on budget-tier Android phones, which is made all the more apparent thanks to the water drop camera notch at the top of the display. The screen has a modest resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels with a 20:9 aspect ratio, which should enough for most casual users who just need to check their messages, phone calls, and socials. As for durability durability, the smartphone comes with an IP54 rating which means a bit of protection against dust and a bit of splashing every now and then.

Inside, the Blade A76 is equipped with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM, which is unsurprising given its spot within ZTE’s smartphone hierarchy. One thing to note though is that ZTE didn’t exactly disclose which kind of chipset is powering the phone, although we might hear more from the manufacturer in the coming weeks. There’s no word on what Android version the phone is launching with, although we can probably bet that it’s Android 15.

As for its photographic capabilities, the Blade A76 features a dual-camera setup—there’s a main camera with a 50 MP wide lens with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor for portrait shots. The phone can also record video at 4K@30fps and 1080p@30fps. For selfies and video calls, the phone packs an 8 MP front-facing camera which can record 1080p@30fps video.
