The Taiwanese chip maker recently announced the arrival of four new automotive SoCs that fall within its Dimensity Auto Cockpit product lineup.
MediaTek announced that it will be showcasing its upcoming LLM demo at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024.
MediaTek says that the Dimensity 8300 will be available in 5G devices before the end of 2023.
With that being said, MediaTek recently announced that it was expanding its portfolio of modems and chipsets to include 5G RedCap support.
MediaTek hopes that its new tech will further expand and build on the company’s existing Wifi hardware platform, balancing performance and reliability when most needed.
The company boasts some serious improvements with the 9300, which now comes with some interesting tricks up its sleeve.
MediaTek alongisde TSMC recently announced that both companies have developed a MediaTek-branded chip using the latter’s 3nm technology.
MediaTek’s push towards putting more AI tech into everyday consumer products has certainly yielded some very interesting results, and the company’s newly-announced collaboration with PC gaming giant NVIDIA aims to do the same, at least in terms of automotive applications.
