We’ve seen a ton of great Android tablets arrive over the past few months, and with IFA 2025 now underway it’s not too surprising to see even more come out from the woodwork. That being said, Samsung once again announced a new addition to its tablet lineup in the form of the Galaxy Tab S11 series, its latest premium flagship tablet duo.

That being said, the Galaxy Tab S11 series comes in two different models consisting of a base model with an 11-inch AMOLED screen, and the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra which features a larger 14.6-inch AMOLED screen. Other differences between the two devices include an 8,400 mAh battery for the Tab S11 which contrasts the massive 11,600 mAh capacity cell on the S11 Ultra, Wifi 6E on the S11 and WiFi 7 on the S11 Ultra, as well as a higher maximum RAM and storage capacity on the S11 Ultra, which tops out at 16GB and 1TB versus 12GB and 512GB on the S11. You do get expandable micro SD storage support though, which is a much-welcome feature these days.

This time around though, Samsung has opted to use MediaTek’s rather-powerful Dimensity 9400+ processor, which is an interesting change given that most high-end tablets go for a Qualcomm chip. The new tablets also come chock-full of AI features from both Google and Samsung, including support for Gemini Live, Writing Assist, Circle to Search, and Drawing Assist. Of course, you also get a bundled S Pen stylus and DeX mode which makes the S11 tablets ideal for on-the-go productivity.

For software, the tablets ship with Android 16 onboard, the latest version of the platform (at least at the time of writing). This of course comes with One UI 8, which itself features a ton of first-party software features from Samsung. In terms of design, both tablets look pretty standard at least when compared to other modern tablets on the market these days. The Tab S11 Ultra does come with a notch though, and slightly-slimmer bezels all around the display. They’re also pretty sleek with metal unibodies, and also feature IP68 dust and water resistance.
