What's This?

Samsung’s smart monitor division has been nothing short of impressive, and over the years the company has amassed a wide selection of different models under its Odyssey monitor lineup. More recently, the Korean tech giant unveiled its 2026 Odyssey monitor portfolio, which includes five new models with features such as higher resolutions and refresh rates, and even glasses-free 3D. Let’s take a look!

At the head of Samsung’s new lineup is the 32-inch Odyssey 3D (model G90XH), which according to the company is the world’s first 6K glasses-free 3D gaming monitor. The G90XH uses real-time eye-tracking technology to adjust depth and perspective based on the viewer’s position, which produces a 3D effect without the need for wearable hardware (think the Nintendo 3DS). The monitor features a native 165Hz refresh rate that can be increased to 330Hz via a “Dual Mode” function, as well as 1ms gray-to-gray (GtG) response time.

Samsung also announced the new 27-inch Odyssey G6 (model G60H) which features an incredibly-fast 1,040Hz refresh rate, which the company says has been designed for the competitive gaming market. This is made possible via the monitor’s Dual Mode, and the display also natively supports QHD resolution at up to 600Hz. The G60H includes support for both AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible technologies to reduce screen tearing during high-speed gaming sessions.

Up next is the Odyssey G8 series, which comes with three different models. This includes the 32-inch Odyssey G8 (G80HS) with a 6K resolution and 165Hz refresh rate, as well as a Dual Mode option that supports 330Hz at 3K resolution. There’s also the smaller 27-inch G80HF model, which comes with 5K resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate, capable of boosting to 360Hz at QHD resolution. Completing the G8 lineup is the 32-inch G80SH model, which is equipped with a 4K QD-OLED panel, a 240Hz refresh rate, 300-nit brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification. All three G8 models support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and are NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible.
